Adaptive Coding Method for Contours and Gray Values of Animation using Fluency DA Functions

(in English) Our group aims at the development of the unified description format of multimedia based on Fluency Information Theory. In this paper, the first step to development of the unified description format of multimedia, we propose the adaptive coding method of animation based on the theory. In our proposed method, each image is divided into some regions with similar color, and contours and gray values of each region are approximated with Fluency DA functions. Experimental result shows that our proposed method reproduces image contours smoothly and codes in 83% data size compared with the conventional method.
