| (in English) | We propose a block-weighted seam carving that considers not only local areas but also global areas in the image. In the proposed technique, an image is divided into blocks and weighted for each pixel by using the variance of the gradient directions histogram in blocks. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique. |
