平板燃料極支持型SOFC(Solid Oxide Fuel Cell)単セルユニットにおける、高燃料利用率運転時の発電特性、アノード排ガス中の水蒸気分圧、発電後のセルの微細構造について調べた。電流密度0.53 A/cm2、燃料利用率95%の条件で2つの単セルユニットで発電試験を行った結果、一方では電圧低下が見られ、もう一方では安定した電圧特性を示した。これらのアノード排ガスの水蒸気分圧を分析した結果、初期の実質燃料利用率が設定燃料利用率に対して低いとき、セル電圧の経時的低下が生じることを明らかにした。さらにこのとき、ニッケルの酸化が進行し、電解質に亀裂を生じさせて燃料極への空気の侵入を加速させることを示唆する結果を得た。 |
