Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we investigate a method to set the maximum allowable transmit power for secondary system (SS) in a spectrum sharing between primary system (PS) and SS. In conventional power allocation method
in the spectrum sharing, it was assumed that location information not only of secondary users (SUs) but also of primary users (PUs) are available at the SS. Thus it is possible to achieve a target outage probability which indi-cates a probability that the interference power exceed the threshold. In this paper, the SS does not have location information and the SS employ a method to set a maximum allowable transmit power satisfying the target outage probability. In this method, SS needs to estimate a distance between the PS and the SS and we derive analysis of estimator when the distance is xed. The estimation is random process due to shadowing. Thus we employ a margin in the maximum allowable transmit power setting to satisfy the outage probability. Next we consider a situation where the distance is unknown. We propose a method to set a margin by considering the worst case based on the above analysis. we develop an method to set a maximum allowable transmit power satisfying the target outage probability. At rst, we derive a statistical analysis of the interference power estimation with xed distance between the the SS and the PS. Based on this analysis, it is possible to set a maximum allowable transmit power to satisfy a target outage probability. We propose a method to set maximum allowable transmit power in the power
allocation based on the interference estimation.
