In the research field of complex networks, efficiency and performance evaluations of the network structure have been analyzed using the storage capacity of associative memory. Traditionally, researchers have been used random dot patterns for memorizing data. However, to analyze the relationship between network structure and storage capacity only by random dot patterns is not appropriate, because there may exist the optimal network topology for certain data types. Therefore, we adopted sequential patterns and characteristic patterns in addition to random dot patterns. Experimental results showed that the optimal network structure with high storage capacity differs due to the difference of pattern types. |
