Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Although an unconstrained bio-signal measurement under daily life is effective for health management, noise caused by daily activities may harm the measurement. Therefore, a context-aware device, which measures bio-signal only when the target user is not generating noise, is indispensable. The authors developed an armrest-mounted ECG, which equips a pressure sensor array to obtain the locations and movements of the forearms of the target user. The developed ECG ignores obtained bio-signal when the user moves. The report provides the overview of the system and the initial evaluation results.
