Roadside-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-vehicle communication systems using 700MHz spectrum have been proposed to help safe and ecological driving. It is one of the subjects to use the limited frequency resource effectively, so that, it is important to consider how to locate roadside units (RSUs) and assign frequency resources to RSUs. To study the those issues, we have measured propagation loss characteristics in roadside-to-vehicle communication environments. In this paper, we show the methods to extract the propagation loss models from the field experimental results and some evaluation results of concrete models are also shown. |
