Real Time Monitoring of the Surface Reaction During the Growth of Organic Thin-Films by Elecrospray Deposition Method

(in English) Electrospray-deposited (ESD) Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) was investigated using several solvent solutions for P3HT:PCBM organic thin-film solar cells (OSCs) as a hole transport layer. The uniform deposition of PEDOT:PSS films was realized using the 70% DMF solvent solution. The spin-coated P3HT:PCBM OSCs with ESD PEDOT:PSS showed a relatively high performance of power conversion efficiency of 2.0%. The ESD PEDOT:PSS is a possible material as a hole-transporting layer for conjugated polymer-based OSCs.
