Range Resolution Improvement Algorithm of HPRF Radar Using Two-Scan Pulse Compression and FM Ranging in Clutter Environment

(in English) In the HPRF radar system, ranging the target is one of the important problems because range ambiguity degrade the accuracy of ranging. Generally, HPRF radar used FM(Frequency Modulation) ranging. However, FM ranging is difficult to improve range resolution because of range ambiguity.
We have already proposed range resolution improvement algorithm that uses pulse compression and FM ranging(RGH:Range Gated HPRF). In this algorithm, FM ranging solves range ambiguity, and pulse compression realizes high range resolution. In this paper, we propose Two-Scan RGH for the improvement of the detection performance. We show the effectiveness of proposal algorithm in clutter environment by computer simulation.
