In this paper, we proposed a method of improving authentication accuracy of the female voices, and we discussed an examination of proper frequency band for females’ voices by dispersion compensation. The authentication accuracy is calculated by SOM (Self-Organizing Maps). Proposed dispersion compensation performs averaging spectra of voices to decrease dispersion. We selected five frequency bands, and so we decided the highest authentication accuracy frequency band is proper.As a result of dispersion compensation processing, standard deviations decreased in all frequency bands.As a result of dispersion compensation processing, standard deviations decreased in all frequency bands.Therefore, female proper frequency band is a range of about 86Hz - 7,666Hz. |
