Observation of radial mode phonon hopping towards quantum simulation with trapped ions

(in English) Quantum simulation using laser cooled ions are studied and many of related researches are recently reported.
Our goal is physical implementation of quantum simulation of Bose-Hubbard model(BHM) with radial mode phonons of trapped ions.
In this system, radial mode phonons function as boson in BHM and we describe the observation of hopping of radial mode phonons in this presentation.
