Multipath Emulator over the Air Transmitting Several Signals with Different Doppler Frequencies from Each Probe Antenna
Yoshichika Ohta, Teruya Fujii (Softbank Telecom) AP2011-93
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In order to accurately assess the transmission technologies of mobile terminals with multiple antennas for MIMO technologies, and so on, the evaluation system that can directory reflects the influence of terminal chasses and user’s usage is required. As the technology realizing this evaluation system, the multipath emulator over the air (OTA) has attracted attention. We propose a novel multipath emulator which transmits the several signals with different Doppler frequencies from each probe antenna. Proposed multipath emulator can generate the channel variations accurately with less antenna probes. In this paper, we explain the outline of developed multipath emulator.
