Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We discuss a theoretical system of structured overlay networks based on Flexible Routing Tables (FRT), a method of designing routing algorithm. We can view FRT as an approach to separate evaluations from procedures of structured overlays.$\leq_{\rm ID}$, an order of preferability for node identi ers in routing tables, is a means for evaluation, and entry ltering and entry learning are procedures to construct routing tables with the evaluations. We believe that FRT plays a key role in that theoretical system, because it has a view of separation of evaluations and procedures, and it provides us means for combining them. We introduce how FRT-based algorithms exploit FRT's architecture.
