Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this report,we deal with an error concealment scheme in stereo video communications. When a slice is dropped, the scheme compensates for the dropped slice with the last-output corresponding slice.By QoE (Quality of Experience) assessment,we make a comparison among the scheme and other two schemes and demonstrate the effect of error concealment. One is called the stereo-frame dropping scheme, which discards both left and right frames when at least one slice of the frames is dropped. The other is referred to as the single-frame dropping scheme, which discards just a frame when at least one slice of the frame is dropped.
