The aim of this experiment was to focus on the usefulness of real model manipulation on tangible solar system. Targeting university students, comparative experiment was done using two different interfaces; astronomy model and astronomy card. As a result, the usage of astronomy model has gained high evaluation in terms of, interest of learner, concentration towards manipulation, motivation to learn, usefulness of the teaching material, and Imagination. Also for the learners who struggle to have good space perception, the usage of the astronomy model has supported them to use intuitive manipulation, and indicated its value, by interesting the learners, and raising the concentration of learners. |
