We previously reported that the sound image of a focal point was steerable through our focusing-beam type loudspeaker-array technology. In this article, we conduct some experiments concerning the perspective perception of such images produced at 0.5m or 4.5m away from listeners. These focal points are produced in front of or behind the loudspeaker-array. The experimental results show that the perspective perception is highly dependent on the SPL differences of the focal points. |
