| (in English) | We have been developing an environmental monitoring system for important cultural assets that require management of environmental information. Generally, administrators patrol in their facilities keeping cultural assets in regular intervals. In our system, the administrators have wireless devices during the patrol, and the devices communicate with wireless devices placed in their facilities and collect observed data. By use of mobile wireless devices held by the administrators, the system reduces the number of communications in little effort. In addition, the system has mechanism of authentication and encryption for limited computing resources, and so all communications of the system are encrypted. These features are useful for preservation of important cultural heritage. This paper describes the structure of the system and the method of collecting observed data securely. |
