Performance Improvement against Imperfection of Analog Devices for Complexty Reduced Multimode MIMO Receiver
Tomoya Ohta (Kyoto Univ.), Satoshi Denno (Okayama Univ.), Masahiro Morikura (Kyoto Univ.) SR2011-48
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Cognitive radios are of interest because they are capable of high frequency utilization efficiency. For the cognitive radios, a multimode MIMO receiver based on heterodyne reception has been proposed. This paper proposes the complexity reduced receiver to achieve high performance by correcting Hilbert transformer imperfection at the intermediate frequency (IF) band. However, imperfection of the analog circuit at the feedback loop causes poor performance. Therefore, the scheme for correcting the imperfection of the analog circuit is proposed.
