Response of SQUID inductance to magnetic nanoparticle films

(in English) We present the response of SQUID inductance to magnetic nanoparticle films. We have been studying the use of magnetic materials including magnetic nanoparticles for fabricating high performance Single-Flux-Quantum (SFQ) circuits. In this work, we measured the inductance of Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) with and without the Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticle films formed by evaporating the solvent of magnetic nanoparticle solutions. Results showed that 13% and 15% increases in SQUID inductance were obtained for two kinds of SQUIDs with the films composed by 5nm nanoparticles. We also found that the increase in SQUID inductance was larger for a SQUID with the film of 5nm nanoparticles than for a SQUID with the film of 50nm in investigation of dependence of the inductance increase on nanoparticle size.
