Angular-multiplexing Holographic Data Storage System is well known for its abilities of “Fast transfer rates” and “High density recording”. We have developed a Monocular architecture to design a compact and low-cost Holographic Drive, and established a Monocular evaluation equipment with Blue laser and high numerical aperture to examine the feasibility of a large capacity system. With this equipment, we examined high density recordings of contiguous plural books and confirmed a Holographic Data Storage System with more than 500GB capacity is feasible.
