Analysis of Induced Fields in Human Due to Electromagnetic Fields of Wireless Power Transmission with Magnetic Resonance

(in English) The present study discussed a computational method of induced field or specific absorption rate (SAR) due to electromagnetic fields caused by a wireless power transmission. The frequency considered was 10MHz band. In particular, the applicability of a quasi-static approximation for localized exposure at 10MHz band is discussed by comparing the induced field in a lossy cylinder computed with a full-wave electromagnetic analysis and a quasi-static approach. A two-step quasi-static method is proposed, which is comprised of the method of the moment and the scalar potential finite difference method. From the computational results, the input impedance of the resonant coils was changed due to the existence of the cylinder. On the other hand, the magnetic field distribution in free space and that with human body and a matching circuit were in good approximation; the maximum difference in the amplitude of magnetic field was 4.8%. For the cylinder-coil distance of 10mm, the maximum difference of SARs in the cylinder computed with the full-wave electromagnetic and our quasi-static method was 7.8% for two resonant modes. The difference becomes smaller with the distance; 4.2% at the distance of 5mm. These results suggested that the quasi-static approach is applicable for wireless power transmission at 10MHz band.
