Development of LTE System Level Simulation Model -- As a Comprehensive LTE Simulation Environment --

(in English) Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the next generation wireless access technology for achieving the high throughput and low latency comparing to the current Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS). In this paper, we report how to model a comprehensive simulation environment for the LTE E-UTRAN (Evolved-Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) simulation. First the modeling and implementation are introduced, then, the coexisting communication systems including LTE and other wireless access networks are evaluated. From the results, not only LTE in a simple substance but also the comprehensive evaluations of the whole system are conducted by using our simulation model.
