| (in English) | High flexibility as well as high performance is desired for the wireless base stations to support rapid evolution of wireless broadband communication. The equipment vendors need to develop flexible system to support various wireless communication standards and to be adapted various installation conditions. To this end, a large number of new architectures have been proposed for a digital baseband processing part. In this presentation, a programmable signal processing accelerator architecture developed for LTE base stations is introduced. The accelerator is a reconfigurable systolic array based on an coordinate rotation digital computer (CORDIC) algorithm for MIMO-OFDM baseband processing. | |
