Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The stream cipher which is a kind of symmetric key algorithm, is a cryptosystem to generate ciphertext by XOR plaintext bits and keystream bits which obtained by input a secret key to pseudorandom number generator. In this paper, we formularize the problem of the attack to stream cipher by statisitical decision theory, and consider the optimal key estimation based on Bayesian criterion. We represent practical pseudorandom number generator as a probabilistic model, and propose the key estimation algorithm based on probabilistic inference one by representing it to graphical model. The proposed algorithm is evaluated by simulation, then consider the safety of the stream cipher.
