A State Transition Control Method Based on Interval of Mobility and Communication of a Mobile Terminal

(in English) A huge number of control signals that are sent by mobile terminals burden a mobile network. This is because that the mobile terminals automatically and frequently send the signals when they change their state. In this paper, we propose a signaling reduction method on a LTE/ EPC system. Our method can reduce the number of the control signals by computing an optimal state transition interval which minimizes the load of state transitions and handover processes, to a mobile terminal based on characteristics of communication and traveling and setting it to a mobile terminal.
