The three-dimensional sound field reproduction system based on the boundary surface control principle and the determination of the regularization parameter on designing of the inverse filter

(in English) Stereophonic sound reproduction technologies for recording and communicating three-dimensional sound field are enthusiastically studied in recent years. The Methods for three-dimensional sound field reproduction can be classified into two types: one is the method in which we control the sound pressure signals about the listener's ears, and another is that in which we control the entire area around the listener's head by making wave surface of sound. We proposed the three-dimensional sound field reproduction system based on the boundary surface control principle (BoSC system), which can record any three-dimensional original sound field and reproduce it in the sound reproduction room. In the BoSC system, design of the inverse filter to cancel the crosstalk from each speaker to each microphone and reverberation in the sound reproduction room is a material factor. However regularization method is used on designing the inverse filter for BoSC system, how to decide the optimum value of regularization parameter on designing the inverse filters for a reverberant room had not been proposed. In this paper, we report the three-dimensional sound reproduction system based on the boundary surface control principle and how to decide the regularization parameter on designing of the inverse filter.
