Supporting Method to Solve Problems in Organization
Toshihiko Tsumaki (NII), Shoji Tsuji (NUL) KBSE2011-8
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) As organizations are constructed with many kinds of members with different viewpoints, the organizational problems solving is necessary to put together the various opinions of the members and discover the good solutions. However, the organizational decision making has often been depending on the simple statistics such as majority or the arbitrary decisions by the managements. It is difficult to discover the essential solutions under these processes. In this paper, we propose a new problem solving method in organizations composed with four processes: information collection, problems understanding, problems solution and solutions evaluation. Furthermore, we refer to a method to derive organizational strategies from the individual solves.
