Reliable MBS technique on WiMAX

(in English) Current multicast technology has difficulty to perform the adaptive modulation and coding, and data retransmission schemes (AMC and ARQ) to each receiving multicast group member under data loss environment of wireless communication. This paper proposes the Reliable MBS technique on WiMAX, forwarding multicast data over the unicast connection where the AMC and ARQ are performed. The technique realizes both reliable multicast service and efficient frequency resource usage. We revealed the effectiveness of the technique by both field tests and simulation analysis.
