| (in English) | We developed a system that transmits triage information, which indicates priority of treatment and transport of causalities, from Disaster Medical Assistance Teams (DMATs) dispatched at the time of a large-scale disaster. The system displays this triage information in real time on a digital map using the Geographic Information System (GIS) at a receiver server. In this study, we developed an application program for a mobile phone that transmits the triage information.The application program uses a special RFID reading function based on FeliCa in the mobile phone to scan the ID of each triage tag on the casualty. We demonstrated the system at the disaster prevention-training event held in Tookamachi-city, Niigata, in October 2010. We confirmed the system operation and evaluated the real time display function of the triage information. | |
