Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, on downlink multiuser MIMO-OFDM system, we evalute the impact of reducing the number of subaband on the performance of linear and non-linear algorithms for the purpose of channel feedback load reduction. We also evalute the impact of an analog feedback method, which sends back a channel value estimated at reciever side and can reduce the channel feedback load further. The simulation result shows that reducing the number of subband to 50, the spectral efficiency of linear and non-linear algorithms degrades. Especially the saturated spectral efficiency of linear algorithm degrades largely. In addition, it is shown that using analog feedback, the performance of VP and BD-VP improves largely with reducing the channel feedback load to about 1/3 to 1/4 against the digital feedback. Especially the performance of BD-VP improves in case of high SNR and high Rician factor.
