Communication networks are becoming an essential part of our life infrastructure. Their reliability and security are therefore issues of great importance. In recent years, various techniques and approaches were considered in order to deal with these issues. In this paper, we focus in particular on the problem of silent failure of base stations in mobile networks and propose a system that exploits the traffic information of base stations in order to achieve fast and accurate detection of silent failures. |
