The Search Performance of Multiple Particle Swarm Optimizers with Inertia Weight with Diversive Curiosity

(in English) In this paper we propose a newly multiple particle swarm optimizers with inertia weight with diversive curiosity (MPSOIW$\alpha$/DC) for improving the search performance of a plain particle swarm optimizer with inertia curiosity (PSOIW). It has the following outstanding features: (1) Implementing plural PSOIWs in parallel to search, (2) Implementing a localized random search to correct solutions for each PSOIW search, and (3) Introducing curiosity into the multi-swarm to alleviate stagnation. For investigating the search characteristics of the proposal, computer experiments on a suite of 5-dimensional benchmark problems are carried out. The obtained results indicate that the search performance of the MPSOIW${}^{\ast}\alpha$/DC using the optimal PSOIW is superior to the PSOIW/DC, EPSOIW, PSOIW, OPSO, and RGA/E for dealing with the given problems.
