| (in English) | With the explosive growth of traffic in the network, the amount of electricity consumed by networking devices rapidly increase. Some energy-saving control scheme for energy-efficient networking is needed.So far, we have proposed dynamic route aggregation scheme, PMAF(Path with Most Active Links First), to reduce total power consumption of all the networking devices in a network.PMAF aware of the state of links along shortest paths between source and destination nodes, so it contributes link-level sleep control in the network.However, node-level sleep control is more efficient than link-level one for power-saving networking.Therefore, this paper proposes a new routing metric for energy efficient routing.Simulation results show that the appropriate routing metric for energy-efficient route aggregation. | |
