Daisuke Okuya, Kurato Maeno (OKI) LOIS2010-80
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the life log systems for rising health awareness and diet, it is important to automatically record exercise information as well as body weights and blood pressures. In this paper, we suggest a method to recognize activity types and paces and estimate calories using one acceleration sensor in a tness club. Then we evaluate the recognition accuracy by experiment. We also show a case study of our life log system that uses the activity types, paces and calories.
