Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, the frame error rate performance (FER) of Unequal-Power-Allocation-Typed (UPA) turbo code on relay channel is evaluated by computer simulation. The UPA turbo code is allocated different powers on the information bit and parity bits at turbo encoder outputs with total transmission power fixed. In particular, FER of the UPA turbo code on relay channel is evaluated. The relay node has the turbo decoder with the small number of iterations. It is shown that the performance of UPA turbo code is almost equal to the performance of traditional turbo code on relay channel when Eb/N0 between source node and relay node is low.
