Education in medical school needs to spend sufficient time for practical training of medical examination. However, in medical schools beside hospitals, trainers cannot use enough time to teach medical examinations and cares on site in hospital, due to heavy load of actual medical works for patients. Thus, we made interactive multimedia e-learning contents for practicing medical examinations. By using video images and acoustic sounds from real or simulated patients, students can virtually experience medical examinations. As the contents are written in a widely used multimedia authoring tool and run on usual personal computers, students can learn the contents at anytime at school or home by him/herself so that spend sufficient time for practicing. |
