| (in English) | We attempt the digital archive for festival music signals (“OHAYASHI” in Japanese) in Yamahoko parade. The festival music in Yamahoko parade is consisted of Japanese traditional drum, Japanese traditional flute and Japanese traditional bell. It is difficult to independently record the Japanese traditional flute in simultaneous playing with Japanese traditional instruments because Japanese traditional drum and bell are louder sounds than Japanese traditional flute. To overcome this problem, we attempt to accurately record them with directional microphones and multiple-track recording technique. We especially record with high-quality not only above instruments, but also ambient noise and inside noise of the float in Yamahoko parade. In addition, we attempt to realize the virtual float in Yamahoko parade which is synchronized with high-vision computer graphics and high-quality sound sources which are recorded for festival music. | |
