| (in English) | As broadband communications have penetrated to ordinary home users,many video delivery services,including YouTube, became popular and widely used. The current contentdelivery systems usually operate basedon the client-server model and they depend heavily on the number ofservers and the capacity of the network. Therehave been published lots of research papers that try to solve thisscaling problem. A general P2P protocol tends toconnect a node to other peer nodes from all around the world withouttaking any locality information into account.The earlier studies utilize simulation experiments for evaluating P2Ppeer selection algorithm, because it is difficultto realize an environment with a large number of real node machines inthe Internet. This paper proposes a newmethod for Location Based Clustering in P2P multimedia streaming. Weevaluate the proposed mechanizm onPlanetLab which is a actual world network and machines. | |
