OTA (Over-the-Air) system, which is one of MIMO terminal evaluation methods, achieves real multipath fading environment around the measurement device, and it is currently being studied for standardization. Fading-emulator-type OTA system, one of MIMO-OTA measurement systems, can achieve the desired propagation environment around assessment area by radio waves radiated from a number of scattering antennas placed on a circle around the terminal. In our previous paper, we proposed a simplified configuration fading-emulator-type OTA system without using the fading simulator, and evaluated the performance of the system through computer simulations. This paper proposes the realization approach of the simplified configuration fading emulator system, and evaluates fundamental characteristics (i.e. Channel capacity, Eigenvalue, Level crossing rate) of the fading channel obtained from the measured data by the constructed system. |
