Echocardiography is a common tool in diagnosis of neonatal congenital heart disease. However, it is very dicult to share knowledge of the disease among medical sta from echocardiography. This study aims to develop a 3D cardiovascular modeling system, where medical doctors can interactively edit template cardiovascular models with echocardiographic images. We propose a set of algorithms and interface that facilitate editing of the shape, diameter and topology of 3D cardiovascular models for congenital heart disease. This presentation reports the details of the methods and cardiovascular modeling results using real patient data. |
