By revised Medical Care Act construction in 2007, medical institutions are supposed to implement proper medical equipment management. Therefore, in the medical institution, in order to attain the increase in efficiency of medical equipment management, the commercial medical equipment management support system is introduced. However, since the introduction and maintenance expense are a large sum, if it is not the medical institution which is economically generous, introduction is difficult for the present condition. Then, we performed construction of the low cost and efficient medical equipment management support system which used open source software according to the management method of a hospital. Thereby, management using a database system can be performed and unified control of the apparatus information can be carried out low cost. Moreover, Availability used as an index of the reliability of apparatus is easily computable by putting in a database. |
