In this study, inner pressure of metal can for preservation of food and drink was experimentally examined using millimeter wave. First, the reflection phase characteristics from the bottom of the can were measured using millimeter wave at from 18 to 50 GHz for measuring the bulge of the bottom of metallic can. From these results, the reflection phase characteristics lead with the increase of inner pressure. And the relation nature of inner pressure and the bulge was verified. |
