| (in English) | Nowadays the environment changes very quickly, and then it is common concept that IT (Information Technology) could be a driver for business process reengineering such as organization change and management change in a company. Therefore, it is one of very important business challenges for company executives to align between the mid-and-long term business strategy and the decision on IT investment. Many previous studies mentioned that the importance of the alignment, and the proposals of conceptual frameworks, and measure methods of financial ROI (Return on Investment). However there might be little of operational level methods that executives can refer, so it is difficult for them to execute it for themselves. This paper, under this status, reports a case study of “IT Investment Prioritization Method” for alignment between the mid-and-long term business strategy and the decision of IT investment, which is made of three aspects of “Project Category”, “Project Status”, and “Constraint Condition”, which was planned and executed in a company. | |
