Acoustic FDTD Analysis Considering Viscous and Advective Effects for Compact Acoustic Systems

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Acoustic FDTD analysis has been introduced for analysing compact acoustic systems becouse equivalent circuit analysis for designing general acoustic systems cannot be utilized for compact acoustic systems. In the acoustic FDTD analysis, however, the sensitivity of a measured response around the resonance frequency differs from the analysis result because the common FDTD analysis does not employ the viscous and advective effects. We therefore examine the effectiveness of an FDTD analysis considering viscous and advective effects through some simulation results.
