(in English) Recently “antenna integrated radios” have been increasing rapidly which do not have terminals for monitoring Tx output power due to constraints on size and cost and requirements for multiple frequency use and multiple antennas. These radio terminals must be tested using radiation measurements where performance is expressed in terms of total radiated power (TRP) and equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.). The existing standard method of measuring radiated power from equipment under test (EUT) is spherical scanning method in a radio anechoic chamber. This method , however, has serious problems such as a large-scale facility, long measurement time, and low sensitivity that makes it difficult to measure low-level spurious radiation. In order to solve these difficulties, we previously proposed displacement method using a spheroidal coupler. This provides a compact facility, short measurement time, real time measurement, and very high sensitivity. In this report, we propose an accuracy improvement method by estimating EUT Reflection coefficient using phase rotation method.
