Auxiliary switch is the closing-opening control element for secondary control circuit of high voltage circuit breaker, the breaking capacity and electrical endurance are the important indicators of reliability. By simulating the electric arc among ports during opening operation and analyzing the influence factors of breaking capacity and dielectric strength under the condition that breaking current is periodic zero after contact breakaway, the electric arc energy calculation is based on the arc duration and breaking current. The relation between breaking capacity and operation characteristics is derived, and the reasonable breaking velocity for delaying auxiliary is elicited and verified by experiments. The result is validity for the improvement of electrical endurance of delaying auxiliary switch. |
