Preparation of ZnO Nanowires by Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis -- Effect of Solvent on Crystal Morphology --

(in English) The possibility of controlling the crystal morphology of ZnO nanowires by Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis technique has been confirmed, and the average diameter of nanowires was controlled via additives and methanol concentration in the solvent of precursor. As the incorporation of Indium Nitrate and Ammonium Acetate increased, the formation of one dimensional ZnO nanowires was dominated and enhancement in the aspect ratio was achieved. When the concentration of methanol in solvent was higher, slimmer nanowires were obtained. In the case of sample prepared from the solution containing 75% of methanol, the nanowires as thin as 50 nm in average diameter were produced.
