Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) With the advent of digital terrestrial broadcasting IP retransmission service, High efficiency and high quality, reliable IP multicast technology is requested. We proposed a method to distribute IP multicast traffic among multiple access edge(IGMPv3/MLDv2 routers) using hash function to improve the efficiency of IP multicast capacity, and some fault detection methods of the access edges to improve fault tolerance of IP multicast. In this paper, we present a redundant switching method after the fault detection.
