Generally, it is difficult to draw a graph of large scale network such as the Internet according to the change of the network topologies in real-time, not only due to the overhead on calculation of node positions, but also due to the overhead on drawing refreshed objects. Both overheads are well affected from the number of nodes (vertexes) and links (edges) on a
graph. In this paper, we report our graph drawing toolset for large scale network topologies more than 30,000 nodes, which is developed for the visualization on a large scale network emulation experiments. Our graph drawing toolset achieves rapid online graph drawing by multi-threading, multi-processing, and / or GPU. Our online graph drawing method is also based on an improved force-directed algorithm to decrease order of calculations. |
