Generally, the empirical and qualitative methods are used to specify the effective processes in order to improve the software quality. It is difficult to select quantitatively the improved processes because there exist complicated relationships or strong correlations between the process performances. In this paper, we propose an approach for analyzing quantitatively the relationships between the software quality and the measures of processes and products in a software development organization and predicting the existence and strength of the cause-effect relationships. |
